CHALLENGE

MOOD Tea is a non-for-profit organisation that is on a mission to change teenagers' lives. All proceeds help fund youth mental health programs. MOOD wanted to create an online presence that really showcased the cause and not just sell the tea. MOOD sells directly to consumers but is also focused on B2B sales and needs this be conveyed on the website.

APPROACH

Through customer research and stakeholder workshops, we uncovered the insight that the website should focus on the cause and really let customers know the why behind their brand. This is not just about selling tea, this is about connecting with customers through a shared mission.

We've designed and developed an engaging scrolling website experience that draws focus to the great cause, while letting customers explore the great ranges of tea that MOOD offers.. We created a specific area to help businesses understand how they can support the cause and stock their offices with a great product, doing great things.

THE SOLUTION

We've created an emotionally connecting e-commerce presence built on Shopify for MOOD that truly highlights the cause, while showcasing their beautiful blends of tea.

OUTCOMES

ECD UX'd, designed, developed & supports the Mood digital experience - at no cost. Mood has sold over 1 million tea bags, funded youth mental health programs, and keeps growing. The website lets businesses purchase and subscribe to deliveries also providing materials to share the mission with their staff.
